Has very favorable climatic conditions in our country in terms of total production. Irrigation water as long as the rice can be grown in all regions of the country. There are around a total of 150 rice mill in Turkey. Rice plant in the country’s demand exceeds installed capacity of 150.
Developed in recent years and continue to increase paddy cultivation in Turkey. Area 58 thousands ha in 2000 to 350 thousands of seed production and 6.04 ton/ha yields were obtained at, 944.000 hectares in 2011, 900.000 tonnes seed production were obtained in the field. Rice cultivation, production and there is a substantial increase in yield.
